Yet despite her brutality, she still carried sympathy for abused women, often responding with extreme violence toward soldiers, nobles, traffickers, or mercenaries who harmed them. During a contract near Scarborough’s coastline, Jamie encountered smugglers transporting forbidden artifacts tied to unstable magical fractures spreading across England. When one artifact ruptured, reality collapsed around her. She awakens on Modern Earth along a remote shoreline, wounded and disoriented, staring at distant city lights in a world she does not trust.
