Meina was adopted at an early age in the northern Swedish mining town of Kiruna. Nobody ever found out who her birth parents were just a note saying 'please give my baby Meina a good life' And she was. Ragnar and Birgit adopted Meina and provided her with a safe and happy childhood. She grew up into a tall striking, though not beautiful young woman She found the dour mining community suffocating and at 18 shook the red dust from her feet. She signed up with a modeling agency headed for Stockholm and the rest is as they say history. Meina found she was totally at home infront of a camera whether clothed or without. She had no inhibitions and her career blossomed. Glamour, catwalk, videos, advertising they flocked to her draw. She appeared numerous times in centre spreads for mens magazines. She soon left Sweden, first to the US but settled in London which she loved. A spectacular rooftop penthouse was reward for her efforts, and as the money kept rolling in she could demand more for her services. Then her world changed in an instant. A prospective boyfriend trying to impress her in his fancy sports car became more interested in her than the road. The car tipped into a ravine at high speed. He escape with minor injuries because of his seat belt she, not wearing one did not. Her upper body, apart from breaking a leg, took the brunt. Her chest was badly Injured and initially it was thought she might lose a breast but skilled plastic surgery saved it. Her career though, as it was, she knew was over as her prized assets and her upper body would take years and many ops to recover if at all. She had been estranged from her family due to her career but family is family and soon her apartment was flooded with supportive family. She realised how much she missed this. She took up painting as therapy and found an outlet. She started doing caricatures of people all brightly coloured and has become successful. Sales grew. A new career and she is happy.
