Due to David's elvish heritage, he has both Wizarding and elvish abilities allowing him to shape shift into any animal of approximately the same mass well as into any humoid form with the same restrictions. He is getting used to his new position with the help of his aunt Mary Riddle, his grandmother Ester Hawthorne currently in rehabilitation after receiving potions to cure her tuberculosis.
