Zoey: Zoey was once a student at Aldrich at Philadelphia under a scholarship to become a film-maker however, she spent her time watching horror films instead of attending classes and even tried justifying to her mother that this is part of a "research". Her love for horror films was introduced to her by her own father, Wade. One night, her father wanted her to become a police officer like him and caused a heated argument with her mother, Carolyn who was greatly concerned about their daughter's future. However, the argument didn't last long as an Infected man stumbled across their home and bit Carolyn to death. Wade managed to kill the Infected, but not long after Carolyn turned as well and fatally mauled her husband. Before she could get the chance to attack Zoey, Wade shot her dead. Bleeding to death, Wade pleads his own daughter to euthanize him in order to avoid turning into the Infected. An emotionally hurt Zoey then proceeds to shoot him dead to end his suffering. It was later revealed that the euthanasia was in vain, due to the fact that her father might possibly be a carrier. The Witch: The Witch is passive towards non-infected humans, however she is easily startled. Shining a flashlight, standing too close, touching, or hurting the witch will cause her to become "startled" where she will target the offender. During the day, she is seen wandering around aimlessly, crying and covering her face. During the night, she is seen sitting in a single spot, hunched over and sobbing. It is believed that the sunlight effects the Witch's sight and behavior, causing her to try to escape the light. The Witch will only target the one responsible for "startling" her. She runs faster then the survivors, unless she has been set on fire, or the survivor in question takes an Adrenaline Shot. If she manages to slash a survivor, it will either incapacitate them and attempt to finish them, or kill them outright. On occasion, the witch may flee after being startled, or re-target an
