Jim Pleiades Hawkins is the only son of Sara Hawkins, a single mother at a local inn. He is a rebel by nature, as he dealt without a father figure in his life. He is headstrong, never wanting to back down from a fight. He is Intelligent, despite his rogue-like appearance, he is street and technology smart. He is a family man, he tries what he can to help his mother and try to be less of a burden. But getting in trouble by the police or other authorities does not really help his goal and it puts a lot of stress on Sara Story: As he dealt more and more troubles to himself and to his mother, he had to find a way to help her financially after her Inn was burned down by pirates. He was given a map from a dying sailor but he did not know where it was going to lead. He and his mother retreated to a friend of theirs who is a Professor of Astronomy. He opens the map and sees that it leads to Captain Flint’s Secret Treasure, a pirate myth that was said to be lost. Aruging and convincing his worried mother, he knows that he will do anything to do up to her and make her proud. He collects his belongings and his friend pays for the Captain, the Ship and the Crew at a nearby harbor. From there, his Journey Begins
