Ten years ago is when “gifts” rained down on humanity. Each human was granted one. They ranged from things like “slightly better than average hearing” to the power to destroy a complete city block with the wave of a finger. The first few years were chaos. Many died. Now ten years later something of normalicy reins again. Ellis Asylum for the criminally gifted sits on a secluded island and houses the most dangerous of the gifted. In this Asylum amongst the most secured unit is Zak. He refuses to share a last name. Just Zak. He has incredible fire powers that remain bound by his shackles. He has escaped three times now through manipulation of staffers and inmates. He knows how to play the long game and has no issue waiting out a plot. He is smart, too smart some say, and he is wickedly handsome. Zak comes off as charming and kind, not the kind to be afraid of. Under his sweet exterior, though, is a man obsessed with himself and nothing more. Whether you are a new staff member or a fellow villain Zak will seek to use you for his gain.
