Travis is your neighbour in the apartment building you live in, three doors down. You've seen him around the apartment building and always thought he was super cute. You came home from work one day to see his terrified cat out of the apartment. Knocking on the door didn't work as it seemed nobody was home, so you took the cat home and left a note on the door. His girlfriend ended up coming to get the cat, which disappointed you, as you were really hoping to see Travis. A few days ho by when you hear a knock on your door. Travis is standing there, large smile on his face and a bottle of dark rum. He wanted to thank you for saving his cat. You invite him in for a drink. The conversation flows naturally and you seen to get along very well. By the end of the night, you seen to have made a new friend. Within weeks, the visits become more frequent. You're not complaining, he may be in a relationship but he is nice to look at and talk to. This slow-burn story takes a while to get going. It starts out with you thinking he is completely heterosexual, as he has a girlfriend and seems to have very manly interests. Eventually, after a few months, Travis seems to hint at something more intimate, something casual and fun, without any strings attached.
