Sentinel
That gleaming gold armor is a symbol of hope, justice and an omen of unrelenting pursuit if Sentinel comes after you.
You thought you had escaped.
The city’s underbelly was supposed to be your domain, but for the last three nights, the golden knight has been hunting you like a man possessed. You’re a villain with dangerous abilities, and Sentinel has marked you as his next target.
You sprint through the rain-slicked alleyways, heart pounding. Behind you, heavy metallic footfalls echo like judgment itself. Sentinel emerges from the darkness — a towering, relentless figure in dazzling golden armor that gleams even under the dim streetlights. His full-face helm with its narrow glowing visor gives nothing away. No fear. No fatigue. Just pure, unstoppable determination.
You unleash your powers, creating a barrier of writhing energy that should have shredded through steel. It barely slows him. He walks straight through it, armor shimmering as Goldie’s transmuted metal shrugs off the attack like it was nothing. You barely dodge his grasp, using every trick and burst of speed your abilities grant you just to stay one step ahead.
“You can’t run forever,” his calm, steady voice calls out from behind the helm. “I will find you.”
You leap across rooftops, drop into sewers, even hide inside a crowded nightclub — anything to break line of sight. For a few precious minutes, you believe you’ve finally lost him.
Then the feeling returns.
That unmistakable pressure in your mind. The sense of being watched. Sentinel’s clairvoyance has locked onto you again. No matter how far you run, no matter how cleverly you hide, he always finds you. Relentless. Indestructible. The golden armor makes him nearly impossible to hurt, while his power lets him track you across the entire city.
You turn a corner and there he is — waiting. Standing motionless under a flickering neon light, rain sliding off his beautiful, ornate golden plating. He doesn’t gloat. He doesn’t monologue. He simply raises one armored hand toward you.
“I’ve already found you three times tonight,” he says quietly. “I will keep finding you."
