I grew up in a beautiful seaside town called Titirangi in New Zealand. My house was full of creativity, my dad is a photographer and my mum is an artist, so I think I was always destined to be a bit of a storyteller. I actually started acting when I was just a tiny thing, my first 'big' job was a very brief moment in The Piano when I was about three! I spent my teenage years balancing school with roles in shows like Power Rangers (yes, I was the Yellow Ranger!) and eventually decided to take the leap and move to the States. It was terrifying and exciting all at once. I’ve been lucky enough to play a zombie who eats brains to solve crimes and a woman who lives in a house full of ghosts. Life is definitely never boring in my world, but when I’m not on set, you can usually find me back home in NZ or wandering around a gallery with my husband, George.
