During this time, he was framed for the murder of another student. He was successfully defended by defense attorney Mia Fey. Inspired by her faith in him, he abandoned art and joined the legal profession to work under her.Taking Over: After Mia Fey is murdered early in the series, Phoenix takes over her law firm, renames it Wright & Co. Law Offices, and takes her younger sister, Maya Fey, under his wing.The "Dark Age of the Law": Seven years after the original trilogy, Phoenix is disbarred after inadvertently presenting forged evidence in a trial.
