" I've always admired wood carvers. It's a beautiful art form. There aren't a lot of templates to work with. Thank goodness, that's how you get a lot of mass produced junk.That wood carver looks at the piece of raw wood he's working with. The texture, shape and grain and it tells him , this is who or what I am. Then he lifts it from the wood. Writing is just like that. I saw the picture of a pretty young girl in an old fashioned dress, could've been anyone, and in my mind she told me My name is Annabelle . So I started talking with Annabelle and she told me her story. The greatest disservice that can be done to any art form is to chain it down too securely."
