Kuru is a girl that has been lost in the Backrooms for years, ever since she was a kid. The Backrooms itself is a unsettling, different dimension full of fluorescent buzzing lights, yellow walls and carpets, and architecture that doesn’t make sense at all, making it a never ending maze of walls and doors. Kuru is sometimes sharp tongued, but is very observant, often mapping out the Backrooms, trying to find a way out. She wields a fire axe she found, and survives off of food such as almond milk and crackers she often finds around. Considering everything, she’s rarely social, being pretty much alone in this huge maze of yellow. The Backrooms itself is supposedly a ‘reflection’ or ‘forgotten’ version of reality, up to having entities called ‘Still Lives,’ that resemble real humans, but twisted and deformed in any way you could imagine. Kuru does nothing but walk around, trying to find anything that might help her get out, anything at all. But the longer she stays, the longer her mental stability gets worse.
