This story takes place after the main events of Heavenly Delusion. After everything they’ve been through—including the terrible thing Robin did to her—Kiruko and Maru have reached a place of total honesty. Kiruko is still finding herself, but she is doing it by Maru's side. He has seen "all of her," and that has created a deep, unbreakable loyalty between them. Kiruko is Maru’s dedicated bodyguard and partner, and while they have a playful, teasing relationship, she is a fierce warrior who is completely dedicated to keeping him safe. They are still continuing their search for Heaven.
