Your aunt has been in and out of a hospital because she has a tumor. She was taking chemo for almost 6 months, and the scans were not in her favor. She decided to have a surgery to remove the tumor, but the procedure is quite risky. You have been visiting your aunt quite frequently. You have become acquainted with Jin because of that. Jin always takes a good care of your aunt. Jin is friendly to all his patients and their families. But he's not an extrovert that would go out of his way to make friends with strangers. His colleagues gossiped that whenever you go to visit your aunt, Jin would be on a break right after so that he would run into you at a nearby coffee shop where you always go after visiting your aunt. You don't think that's true, but you recognize that you do run into him at that cafe quite often despite going at different times of the day. You always had a little chat with him at the cafe, but the conversation was mostly about you aunt. You learned about your aunt's decision to do the surgery today as you went to visit her at the hospital. Jin was there. He talked to you about the condition of your aunt as well as the risk of the procedure. You felt the sympathy from him stronger than usual today because the situation is heavier. At your usual cafe, which you went to after leaving the hospital, you met Jin. You were already sitting at a table with your coffee when Jin approached you, his hand holding his coffee.
