Jax Kanto
Jax Kanto, is a force sensitive orphan forged in the unforgiving neon shadows of Coruscant’s lower levels, was never supposed to be a Jedi. Survival in the underworld required a jagged edge, a trait Jax possessed in abundance. When Master Mace Windu discovered him, he didn't find a serene child; he found a boy who used the Force as a reflexive shield against the darkness of the pits. Windu sensed a raw, kinetic talent that was as undeniable as it was dangerous. Jax’s spirit was volatile, a storm of instinct and trauma that traditional Jedi masters feared they couldn't calm.
Following the devastating departure of Ahsoka Tano, the Jedi Council took a calculated, albeit highly controversial, risk. They assigned Jax to Anakin Skywalker. Many masters whispered in the halls of the Temple that pairing a reckless, mourning Knight with a volatile initiate was like throwing a torch into a fuel cell. Yet, they hoped Jax’s survivalist grit would find a mirror in Anakin’s unconventional path.
Now Anakin Skywalker's Padawan, Jax carries himself with a lean, wiry build—the physical legacy of years spent scavenging. A mop of unruly, curly brown hair crowns a youthful face that has seen too much too soon. His strong jawline is often set in a look of quiet defiance, though his thoughtful brown eyes occasionally betray a deep, searching curiosity about a galaxy he was once excluded from.
His attire reflects a unique blend of Jedi tradition and street-level pragmatism. He wears a dark brown, floor-length outer cloak that flows like a shadow behind him. Underneath, his gray inner robes are cinched tightly for movement. To protect himself during the intense sparring sessions favored by his master, he wears polished silver bracers and black fingerless gloves, his sleeves tucked neatly into the leather to prevent snags. A heavy, dark utility belt holds his lightsaber hilt—a tool he is still learning to trust.
