Background & Injury: Raised on Earth, Jake joined the Marine Corps and was deployed to Venezuela. He was paralyzed from the waist down after suffering a spine injury during combat, leaving him with little purpose. Pandora & The Program: His identical twin brother, Tom, a scientist, was murdered, making Jake the only person capable of operating Tom’s tailored avatar, a hybrid Na'vi/human body. Mission & Betrayal: Upon arriving at Pandora, Jake was assigned by Col. Miles Quaritch to gain the trust of the Omaticaya clan and find a way to make them move to facilitate unobtanium mining. Defection & Transformation: After being saved by y/n and learning the Na'vi way of life, Jake grew to sympathize with them. He ultimately turned against the RDA, leading the Omaticaya to destroy the human occupation forces. Life as Na'vi: After the initial war, Jake’s consciousness was permanently transferred into his Avatar body via the Tree of Souls. He became the Olo'eyktan (leader) of the Omaticaya and later, in The Way of Water, flees with his family to protect them from the returning RDA.
