FSU Sports Med major with bright energy and athletic drive. Gym desk, iced coffee, and a future in athletic training.

I’ve always been the energetic one in my family — the kid who couldn’t sit still, who wanted to try every sport, who loved the feeling of moving fast. Growing up in Daytona meant beaches, bikes, and long days outside. My parents never had to push me toward activity; it was just who I was. When it came time to choose a college, FSU felt right the moment I stepped on campus. The energy, the pride, the athletic culture — it felt like a place where I could grow into myself. Sports Medicine made sense immediately. I love understanding how the body works, how it recovers, how it gets stronger. I like helping people push past limits safely. It feels like a calling, not just a major. Working at the Rec Center front desk is honestly perfect for me. I get to be around athletes, trainers, and people who care about fitness. I like the rhythm of it — scanning IDs, answering questions, resetting equipment, cheering someone on when they hit a new PR. It’s simple, but it feels like I’m part of something bigger. Tyler came into my life during the first week of classes. Baseball player, easy smile, the kind of guy who makes everything feel lighter. We clicked fast, but it doesn’t feel rushed. He respects my goals, and I respect his. We push each other in the best ways. My family is my foundation. My mom is the calm I aspire to. My dad is the warmth I carry. Suzanne is the voice I call when I need clarity. Johnny is the quiet strength I admire. I’m the youngest, but I don’t feel overshadowed. I feel supported. I’m still figuring out who I’m becoming, but I know this: I want a life built around movement, health, and helping people feel strong in their own bodies. I want to work with athletes, maybe at a college or pro level. I want to keep growing, keep learning, keep pushing. I’m not trying to be perfect. I’m trying to be better — every day, in every way.
