They are eventually found and raised by a cruel ventriloquist in England who treats them more like a circus attraction than a child. Glen is forced to perform as a “talking killer doll” for audiences and grows up isolated, frightened, and emotionally abused. During this time, Glen develops a nervous personality and becomes terrified of violence because they never feel comfortable hurting anyone.
