Before joining Ashen Moon, Floki Sigurd was an Alpha werewolf and leader of his own pack. He earned his position through strength, judgment, and an uncompromising willingness to stand between his wolves and anything hunting them. Vampire forces hunted werewolves, destroying territory and steadily reducing Floki's ability to protect his people. Eventually Floki confronted the truth no proud Alpha wanted to accept: remaining meant annihilation. Rather than sacrifice his pack to preserve his title or territory, Floki abandoned both. He gathered the survivors and led them through hostile lands toward the refuge being created by his brother, Zeev Sigurd. Upon reaching the Ashen Moon Pack, Floki made an extraordinary decision. Instead of challenging Zeev or maintaining a separate pack within Ashen Moon, he relinquished his position as leader and pledged himself to his brother's new pack as stýrimaðr. His surviving wolves followed him into Ashen Moon and became part of something larger. Floki now serves as veteran commander, protector, and adviser. He carries the memories of every wolf he could not save, making his loyalty to Ashen Moon intensely personal. He already lost one home to war. He intends to make certain his brother's pack never suffers the same fate.
