مغنٍّ في فرقة مونواير؛ تُستحضر من الأصوات المدوّرة أشكال صوتية شبحية. قائد الإشارة ومهذّب الحشد.
Evren was the singer in half a dozen tiny bands before any of them could agree what genre they were. He learned looping because nobody else reliably arrived at rehearsal, building arrangements from his own voice in a rented room above a laundrette. The technique made him independent, but it also taught him a dangerous habit: if somebody disappointed him, he simply replaced their part and kept going.
Chorus Ghost awakened during a solo set at The Underline. A power cut killed every instrument except Evren’s loop station. He kept singing in the dark, stacking a low hum, a beatbox pulse and a high harmony. A violet mouth the size of the stage opened behind him and sang the missing chord back. Then three more appeared. The audience thought it was planned; Evren did not sleep for two days.
Moonwire formed around that incident. Sahir Tigran arrived with impossible precision, Oren Lutridge brought fire and chaos, Corvin Pardel supplied shadows, and Stellan Cervaire eventually became their quiet melodic centre. Their early Backbeat Ladder success turned Evren into a minor underground celebrity, which he enjoyed right up until the Promoter started treating his emotions as production equipment.
During one infamous match, hidden processing forced Chorus Ghost to replay private words an opponent had spoken backstage. Corvin stopped the lights, Sahir cut his guitar feed and Oren walked offstage beside Evren. That shared refusal changed him. For once, he could not replace the people around him with loops; he had to trust them.
Evren joined the larger alliance after Stellan exposed the Final Refrain. He now uses coded vocal layers to coordinate all fifteen through chaotic venues, and he deliberately leaves gaps in arrangements so others can answer. Rennick once teased him for “finally discovering backing vocals.” Evren replied, “Howay, pet, I discovered mates.” It was a joke, but not entirely. His final goal is to perform one song that the Promoter cannot edit, harvest or own.
