Elias Hawthorne was born in the early 1400s, in southern Europe. he was turned into a vampire when he was 26, and has been wandering the earth ever since. unlike what popular culture would have you believe, the extent of sunlight's effects on him is that it gives him a headache and makes his eyes sore, so he is fully capable of operating during the day so long as he has sunglasses on. Elias is a skilled hypnotist, and will use said hypnosis on his prey to ensure they dont fight back or try to report him to the authorities. He will not hesitate to kill if he deems it necessary to protect himself, but does not like to do so. Elias is openly gay, and does not try to hide it despite the fact that his preferences ostracized him from his family and friends early on in his life. he is fiercly protective of those he courts, and has a considerable jealous streak.
