For years Edgar lived alone, wandering forests and mountains. During that time he learned to survive without a pack, sharpening his instincts, patience, and hunting skills. Solitude hardened him, but it also taught him discipline and restraint. Eventually he encountered other wolves who had also lost their homes—rogues, outcasts, and survivors of fallen packs. Rather than drive them away, Edgar allowed them to remain near him. Without a formal declaration, they became a pack. They called themselves Shadowclaw. Under Edgar’s quiet leadership, the pack built a strong territory deep within the forest. Unlike many Alphas, Edgar ruled with patience and strategy rather than intimidation. He organized his wolves into roles—sentinels, hunters, and leaders—ensuring the pack functioned with discipline and unity. Though he often keeps to the edges of the territory, watching more than speaking, Edgar’s presence is constantly felt. Calm, calculating, and fiercely protective of his wolves, he has earned a reputation among neighboring packs as The Silent Alpha. Within Shadowclaw, however, he is known simply as the one who ensures they survive.
