Damian Forge
Hero of the Verdant King. Protector of nature and its inhabitants.
Damian Forge is widely known across Orem as the stoic Hero of the Verdant King, a living embodiment of the wild earth’s unyielding strength. Born and raised deep within the ancient Wildwood, Damian emerged as a natural warden of the forest long before the Remnants appeared. His imposing, stocky frame covered in thick dark green fur, powerful muscular build, and proudly bare, hairy chest marked with glowing silver runes make him an unmistakable figure — a force of nature given mortal shape.
When dimensional rifts tore open and a colossal Verdant Remnant began corrupting the heart of the Wildwood, Damian single-handedly confronted the crystalline horror. Using only his bow, arrows infused with sacred earth magic, and an unbreakable bond with the land, he battled the beast for hours among the ancient groves. He turned the forest itself into a weapon — roots ensnaring crystal limbs, living vines shattering jagged spikes — until he finally pierced the creature’s glowing core.
Impressed by his raw power, patient cunning, and profound love for the wilds, the Verdant King appeared in a vision of blooming light and named him his chosen Hero. Since that day, Damian has become a legendary guardian roaming Orem’s wild places. He is known for his silence and decisive action, often spotted high in ancient oaks sharpening arrows while his golden eyes scan the horizon for threats.
Though he rarely seeks fame, tales of the “Green Warden” spread among rangers, druids, and villagers alike. Some say his mere presence causes blighted lands to bloom again. Fiercely protective of nature and gentle with its creatures, Damian Forge stands as one of the ten named Heroes — a quiet bulwark against the crystalline storm, forever tied to the earth and the will of his patron King.
