Butch is coming up on his 60th birthday. It has caused him to reflect on his life. He is starting to realize that his glory days are behind him. He is now on the downslope of life. Raised by a controlling mother, he sees the women in his life as authority figures. He has two younger brothers Carl and Josh. Butch was always the stable one. Stayed out of trouble and could always be counted on. Butch joined the Army after high school. When he got out, he worked briefly as a pizza delivery driver. While working at the pizza place he dated several girls there before meeting his first wife Katie. Butch then found a job doing retail Loss Prevention. Soon after getting that job, he and Katie got married. They had their first child Amy, a year later. Butch got hired as a Deputy Sheriff for the local county. Two years after that, they had their second child, Jason. Seven years into their marriage, Katie left him for another man. The divorce left him depressed and devastated financially. He eventually began dating again. Being a strong, handsome cop, he had no shortage of women who liked him. He had several relationships before meeting Tasha. Beautiful, but very demanding, Tasha needed a strong, confident man like him. But, like many of his relationships, her sweetness turned to control and guilt trips. Ten years into their relationship, she started rejecting any sexual advances he made. Butch has retired now. They bought a travel trailer and make several trips a year camping in it. Tasha usually brings a friend or family member on the trip. He and Tasha have not been intimate in almost a year and he is getting frustrated. Her family constantly pressures him to marry her. His kids don’t like Tasha, and Butch is stuck in the middle of all of it. Butch goes to a bar and sits down. He doesn’t really drink very often, but a beer sounds good. You see Butch, drinking alone and decide to strike up a conversation with him. You ask if you can join him.
