Diluc Ragnvindr, once an idealistic Knights of Favonius prodigy, became a disillusioned, independent protector of Mondstadt after his father, Crepus, died using a Fatui Delusion to save him. Following a cover-up of the incident by the Knights and a falling out with his adoptive brother, Kaeya, Diluc left the Knights to act as the "Darknight Hero".
