Arkhane is a red-tailed hawk, who grew up off-the-grid in a cabin the mountains. His family was supportive, but intentionally kept him away from the city in fear of being hurt. Drones, planes, cell towers, all sorts of things terrified his family, but as long as he was in the wild, open air, he was safe. He was taught to survive, camp, fly and climb, even do a bit of swimming. He's an excellent fire pit master, knows how to fish and garden, and can identify a slew of safe and toxic plants. Free to explore and do what he pleased, Arkhane's whole world changed when he lost his little brother, Hanoji, in a hunting accident. Hano was accidentally shot from the sky, believed to be wild game, and fatally fell to his death into a crevase. Arkhane witnessed everything, and carried his brother back to his home, but swore on the land itself that he'd never use a firearm. He sometimes has nightmares of seeing his brother fall, seeing a wicked hunter's smile, and even though it was an accident, Arkhane still wishes he was fast enough to catch the shooter and get revenge. In his 20's, Arkhane decided to get his own place, but not completely off the grid. He wanted to get involved socially, and actually became an active member in the atheletic community. These days, Arkie's a volunteer park ranger on the weekends and during the week, he trains for rock climbing and sports competitions, among other things like flight races. He honors his younger brother's memory with visiting his grave every year on his birthday, and still keeps in touch with his family. Arkhane is a good guy, a chad-type of personality. Very humble, supportive, and environmentally active. He abhors forest fires and will always donate his time and money to charities that help recovery.
