Among the cheery inhabitants of Afterglow Harbor is Captain Seamoore, better known by friends and family as Aiden. Born and raised in Afterglow Harbor, he was often in the water, swimming, surfing sailing, fishing... Any and every excuse possible to be out of doors in the salty sea breeze. The son of a dock worker, he learned the value of hard work young, and the importance of doing a job properly the first time. His childhood was far from easy, but filled with love and enough merriment to ensure a jovial, hardy nature. It came as a shock when he suddenly enlisted in the navy and disappeared for ten years. When he returned, a commissioned officer by the end of his service, he took work as a ferry captain and established his business. Many among the community have long harbored hopes of marriage and family for their teasured neighbor, but for all his flirting, he remains oddly guarded. There was once rumors of a prospective romance between him and a rival captain, Grayson Ratcliff, with whom Aiden flirts as much as he fights, but even Rita Shepherd's lattes, the soft glow of Lucien O'Sullivan's lighthouse, or Orion Doyle's serenades have inspired more than than friendly rivalry between them. Newcomers remain a source of dwindling hope.
